The interactive special exhibition, Becoming Characters in Memorable Ghibli Scenes, has been part of Ghibli's Grand Warehouse since it opened in November 2022. You can become characters from Studio Ghibli films in this world of famous film scenes. Photography is permitted throughout this exhibition.
This winter will be the first time since the park opened that this exhibition will be remodeled. Seven of the 14 scenes will change.
One of the new scenes is from The Boy and the Heron. Here you can become the main character, Mahito, facing Granduncle with Himi.

*The current scenes from these movies will be featured until December 1st.

The Ocean Waves, The Wind Rise, When Marnie Was There, and the scene in Castle in the Sky where Sheeta falls from the sky.
Movies whose scenes will continue to be featured after December 17th: (7 scenes)
Castle in the Sky, Pom Poko, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Tales from Earthsea, Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea, and From Up on Poppy Hill.

*Ghibli Park will be closed from December 2nd through December 16th, 2025, due to maintenance work.
