Panorama Box Exhibition

31 Panorama Boxes created especially for the Ghibli Park by Studio Ghibli's animated film director Hayao Miyazaki is exhibited. The Panorama Boxes —hand-drawn by Miyazaki— take their subjects from his feature films, from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind to The Boy and the Heron, as well as his animated short films (screened exclusively at the Ghibli Museum, Mitaka and Ghibli Park) and original new works.
▼About the Panorama Boxes
A Panorama Box is a kind of trick art box. When you peer at the artwork inside the box, a scene with depth, as if a moment from a film, expands before you. The characters and background art are drawn separately and arranged in several layers inside the box.
Everything Ghibli!
The Cat Bus that both children and adults can ride welcomes you at the entrance. You'll find exhibits featuring Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki. Handwritten documents and displays introduce the process of creating animated films, from initial planning to publicity and promotion.

Synopsis
A "new guy" has begun working at Ghibli Park.
On this particular day, somewhat strangely, he receives numerous requests to repair buildings all over the park.
What's more, a fireplace suddenly comes alight on its own, water sprays out from taps, and other bizarre phenomena occur.
"There's a lot of weird things happening!"
The new guy is constantly spooked, but senior staff member Kikue pays him no mind.
At midnight, after the park closes, the new guy heads to the Valley of Witches to work the night shift for the first time. There, he sees Kikue, wearing a cloak.
"I'm a witch."
She begins chanting a spell, and when she swings her lantern down...
Studio Ghibli presents Ghibli Park's first-ever original short film, set in the park itself.
