With the package ticket, there is no assigned time for entry to Mononoke Village, except that you must enter with all members of your party by 4:00 p.m. on the day of your package reservation.Be advised that there may be a waiting queue to enter, so please plan accordingly.

Dondoko Forest ticket holders are allowed to visit its hiking trails during the opening hours of the park on that day only.

Terms and Conditions

  • *Advanced reservations specific to date and time of entry are required with no exceptions. (Reservations are specific to entry times only.)
  • *You may only enter the park at your assigned entry time, but may stay as long as you wish until closing. Please enter Ghibli's Grand Warehouse within one hour of your reservation time. Enter Satsuki and Mei's House and Hill of Youth within 30 minutes of your reservation time. No re-entry is allowed in any of the three areas. You can't enter the park early or once your assigned window of time has passed. Entry times may change without notification.
  • *Prices listed above include tax.
  • *Half-price tickets are available for visitors holding disability certificate plus one companion. Please present either the original or a photocopy of the disability certificate and passport to the staff for confirmation when entering the park.
  • *In addition to admission, a service charge (110 yen per ticket) will be applied when tickets are issued.
  • *One person may only make one reservation of up to six tickets per area. Children up to the age of three may enter for free and should not be counted as a member in the party.
  • *Discounted tickets are not available, including for groups or early booking.
  • *Lord Okkoto slide in Mononoke Village is only available for children of 12 years and under. Be advised that the slide will be closed in case of rain.
  • *The Cat Bus in the Cat Bus Room and Children's Town in Ghibli's Grand Warehouse as well as Dondoko-do in Dondoko Forest are only available for children of 12 years and under.

Tickets for November - December 2023 are now on sale.

  • *The dates tickets go on sale and sale periods are subject to change.
  • *Please note that park tickets cannot be purchased at any area of the Ghibli Park.
  • *In order to prevent ticket resales, you may be randomly selected to show identification upon entering. The person whose name is on the tickets must be present and able to provide ID. Please bring your passport when you visit the park.
  • *The purchase of tickets for resale and/or transfer purposes (including gifts) is strictly prohibited.
  • *The purchase of tickets for the purpose of reselling may be punishable by law and is strictly prohibited.
  • *Visitors whose tickets appear to have been purchased through auction (or other unofficial means) will be denied entry.
  • *Once a purchase has been made, tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable regardless of whether the ticket is used on the day of the reservation or not.
  • *Once a purchase has been made, tickets will not be reissued even if they are lost, damaged or stolen.
  • *All members of your party must enter each area at the same time as the person whose name is on the tickets.
